Black: We come from a dark past of sin and depravity and wear the black because we never want to forget where God has brought us from. For some of us we were criminal’s….perpetrator’s, refusing to give way to our conscience. For other’s we medicated ourselves in order to more easily accept our wickedness, and for some we fell into addiction and our lives were destroyed. For many, we found ourselves victim’s of the evil deeds of people…..which damaged our souls to the very core. Our hearts became bitter, angry, and without God…we retaliated against the forces of darkness in our own power; and lost. Black reminds us of the multitudes of humanity who remain in darkness and sin, refusing to acknowledge God. It is for them we ride and bring the message of Christ.
Gold: When we accepted the fact that we would one day face Gods judgment, and learned that the standard that He would use is His LAW…we found that Christ’s cross was the only way that our lives could be restored and given the hope of heaven. The bible describes heaven with streets paved with gold, and we travel the highways and the bi-ways of this fallen earth filled with the fervent hope that we will one day tread upon those golden streets. When God ordained Israel to worship HIM, a temple was built and He destined that golden vessel’s should be used in the administration of ceremonies which brought HIM praise. These vessels of gold were worthy to carry incense and other sacrificial items; and we…even in our un-doneness have been made vessels to bring forth Gods glory, in spite of ourselves… because of Christ who lives in us. Our worth is appraised by God when He looks upon us and sees Christ’s blood which makes us fit to serve him in humility.
Purple: This color stands for royalty. We serve only one KING and His name is JESUS. Our obedience to Gods word demonstrates our loyalty to the King and our actions with regard to evangelism confirm our interest in His kingdom; in that, we are to remain focused upon sharing the gospel of Christ with unbelievers…. in season and out of season….when it is convenient and when it is not. We declare our submission to Christ the King when we boldly deliver the Law to the Proud and then Grace to the Humble. Romans 7, declares that we would not have knowledge of our sin if it weren’t for the law. Purple is the color of a robe that the Roman soldier’s mockingly placed upon our Savior before He went to the cross. When Jesus came to earth the first time, he came as a lowly babe born in a barn in Bethlehem. When Jesus returns, He will come as our reigning KING, robed in glory, crowned with many crowns, and the words etched upon His thigh of Faithful and True. We bow to no other King but JESUS!
Our EmblemsThe Triquetra: Is a Celtic symbol which represents the Trinity – 3 Parts of God; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17 that the body of Christ would be “one” just as He and the Father are one, it is our deepest desire to see unity between believer’s…especially within the various biker ministries. It is our plan to be used to labor in unity with other ministries in order to reach out to the masses for the sake of Christ, both practically and spiritually. We also will come along side community organizations supporting worthwhile charities and those in need.
The Thorned Cross: The Roman soldiers wove a crown of thorns during Jesus’ trial before Pontius Pilate and placed it mockingly upon His head. As Christians, we MUST accept the fact that we need to “carry our cross in order to inherit the crown,” which will be awarded to those who are faithful…. when entering our eternal reward and Christ says, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” And James 1: 12 We must never forget the heinous punishment that Jesus took upon Himself in our stead. We justly deserved the judgment that was given Him, and by our works can do nothing to “earn” our salvation, but instead have repented of our sin and placed our trust in Him who endured the cross. We now live to please HIM. We don’t wear crosses as some do; a mockery to His sacrifice, but when we put on a cross it reminds us of what jesus did on our behalf. We justly deserved that judgment, but our savior took it for us.
The Star of David: Jesus was born a Jew and the bible states that salvation would be given to the Jews first, and then the gentiles; the roots of our Christian faith began in Judaism. We believe in the preservation of Israel as a nation and declare that all things are tied to that place in the world. We are a friend of Israel and desire to be used of God to share the light of Yeshua (Jesus) with every Jew who will listen. We are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem Psalms 122:6.
